SKAI High Voltage Converters

The SKAI high-voltage converter portfolio ranges from 50kW to 500kW with DC supply voltage up to 950Vdc. The IGBT-based 2nd generation SKAI 2 HV platform features sintered and AlCu bonded power semiconductors, a polypropylene film DC-link capacitor, and is liquid-cooled in an IP67 housing. It operates up to 800Vdc and 300kVA, meeting high power-density, ruggedness, and automotive EMI compliance. Variants can be customized, with 3rd party control software or µC customization possible. The 3rd generation SKAI 3 HV uses SiC MOSFETs and a Power Core with ultra-low inductance modules, low inductive DC bus capacitors connected to laser-welded busbars, and a closed cooler. It operates up to 950Vdc and 600kVA. The SKAI 3 HV Power Core can be integrated into proprietary designs or developed individually upon request.
