Kern Jain
Kern Jain brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in finance, strategy, and business transformation within global industrial technology companies. On August 1, 2026, Kern Jain has been appointed President of Semikron Danfoss.
Before taking on this role, Kern Jain has served as Senior Vice President and Global Segment CFO for the Power Electronics and Drives Segment at Danfoss since October 2022, where he was responsible for finance and systems across a global business operating in more than 50 countries. He played a key role in driving strategic growth, digitalisation, and the integration of acquired businesses.
Prior to joining Danfoss, Kern Jain held several senior finance leadership positions at ABB, supporting global growth, transformation, and operational excellence initiatives across Europe and Asia.
Kern Jain holds an Executive MBA with honours from Aalto University in Finland and is a Chartered Accountant.
Johannes Krapp
Johannes Krapp has held various management positions and brings 17 years of experience in the power electronics market.
In May 2025, Johannes Krapp assumed the role of Senior Vice President of the Industry Division, following his position as Head of the Solutions Division in 2024.
Johannes Krapp joined Semikron Danfoss in 2008 and held management positions in product management and sales. He successfully led various strategic projects in different functional areas such as operations or organizational restructuring. He passed on his experience at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt by holding lectures and supervised projects with the focus on the development of new business models.
Johannes Krapp has a diploma in electrical engineering and management (University of Applied Sciences Würzburg Schweinfurt) and graduated Management, Leadership and Strategy development programs (INSEAD, Kienbaum).
Natalie Schnippering
Natalie Schnippering brings more than 15 years of experience in the high-tech and IT industries, including over five years in senior leadership positions. In November 2025, she joined Semikron Danfoss as Vice President of the Solutions Division.
Prior to joining Semikron Danfoss, Natalie Schnippering served as Vice President of Digital Services within Danfoss Climate Solutions. As part of the Segment Executive Team, she helped shape the business’ digital transformation and successfully built and scaled new businesses. Earlier in her career, Natalie Schnippering worked in top-management advisory for leading technology companies such as Siemens and SAP. She also gained extensive international experience through global assignments with IBM across Europe, South America, and Asia.
Natalie Schnippering holds a dual degree in International Business from DHBW in collaboration with IBM, as well as an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe.
Edna Haas
In September 2026, Edna Haas has been appointed Head of Strategy and Market Intelligence for Semikron Danfoss.
In her previous roles, she has contributed to strategic priorities, business transformation initiatives, and executive decision support across the organization. With experience in project management, operational excellence, and cross-functional leadership, she has worked closely with senior leadership teams to support the execution of key business priorities.
Edna joined Semikron Danfoss in 2023 in the Automotive Division. Prior to joining the company, she gained experience in Supply Chain Management and Global Management at Foxconn HonHai in the United States and Mexico.
She holds an MBA from The University of Texas and brings a broad international business perspective to her role.
Rikke Jørgensen
Rikke Jørgensen brings four years of HR leadership experience as well as an extensive background in global business-facing roles, sales excellence, quality, environment, health and safety, and compliance.
As Head of Global HR for Danfoss Power Electronics, she leads the global people agenda in support of the organization’s strategic priorities and transformation. Throughout her career, Rikke Jørgensen has worked closely with customers, operational teams, and senior leaders in international environments, gaining a strong understanding of the relationship between business performance, organizational culture, and talent.
Based in Flensburg, Germany, Rikke Jørgensen works with leaders and teams across multiple regions. Her areas of focus include organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and the creation of inclusive, high-performing working environments.
Markus Menne
Markus Menne has broad management experience in finance, having held key positions in both industrial companies and banking.
In 2022, Markus Menne was appointed Senior Vice President of Finance & Systems at Semikron Danfoss. Prior to this, he worked at Danfoss Silicon Power from 2014 and ultimately advanced to the role of Senior Director Finance & Procurement. Markus Menne started his career with the Danfoss Group in 2006, where he was responsible for Treasury and Risk Management activities at Sauer-Danfoss. In 2012, he was promoted to Director Group Funding at Danfoss.
From 1995 until joining Danfoss, Markus Menne held various finance positions in banking and industry companies.
Markus Menne is a German citizen and lives in Germany. He holds a Diploma in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Hamburg.
Kurt Georg Besendoerfer
Kurt Georg Besendoerfer has more than 20 years of experience in power electronics packaging, materials science, and innovation management. In July 2026, he assumed the role of Senior Director Technology & Research at Danfoss Power Electronics, where he leads research, innovation, intellectual property, product compliance, and advanced development activities.
Prior to his current role, he held several leadership and engineering positions at Semikron Danfoss since 2007, contributing to the development and industrialization of advanced manufacturing and packaging technologies for power semiconductor modules.
Kurt Georg Besendoerfer holds a PhD in Materials Science from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
